In the event of an emergency, we will always be open and transparent in our communication. We will communicate with all staff and families.

Text Messages and Phone Calls:
All phone numbers provided to the district through the student information system will automatically be signed up to receive voice calls and text messages from the district and the specific building in which your child attends. These messages will be limited and important when distributed.
Texts will come from code 98900.
If you are a parent/guardian/student/employee and not receiving voice calls and/or texts, please first contact the building in which your student attends to make sure your number is correctly listed in our system. You can also do this by logging in to the Lumen Portal. If we have your number correctly on file, but you still aren't receiving messages, you may have opted out of texts. You can text START to 98900 any time to restart text messages.
If you've tried these troubleshooting items and are still not receiving texts, it is most likely a wireless carrier issue. Specifically, if you are not receiving texts, please get in touch with your wireless carrier and ask them to enable SMS messaging on your device.
To opt out of receiving text messages, simply text "STOP" to code 98900. This is not recommended, as text messages are a key way we inform patrons about important information.
Please note that opting out of texts and phone calls can result in missing important, urgent communications, depending on the situation at hand.
