Bolivar, MO – This Giving Tuesday, Care to Learn - Bolivar is calling on the community to join its mission to meet the immediate needs of Bolivar students in the areas of health, hunger, and hygiene. The organization aims to raise $1,500 to provide essential health, hunger, and hygiene items for students in the Bolivar R-1 School District.
Care to Learn has been a vital resource for the Bolivar School District, responding swiftly when a student’s need arises. Whether it’s a weekend meal for a child in need, a pair of shoes for a student whose family is struggling, or covering the cost of urgent medical care, Care to Learn ensures students can focus on their education instead of worrying about their basic needs.
“This Giving Tuesday, we have an incredible opportunity to rally as a community and help meet the immediate needs of our students,” said Aubrey Hampton, Care to Learn - Bolivar liaison, “A small contribution can have a big impact on a child’s ability to focus in class and thrive academically and personally.”
“Care to Learn is here to make sure no student in Bolivar has to face the barriers of hunger, illness, or lack of hygiene,” said Dr. Michael Methvin, Superintendent of the Bolivar R-1 School District. “These basic needs are essential for success in the classroom, and we’re grateful for the community’s support in making a difference.”
