The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) District 13 Leadership Conference was held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Bolivar. Twenty-three schools from the area were in attendance. The FBLA State Leadership Conference will be held in Springfield, MO, on April 13-15, 2025.
The Bolivar High School FBLA chapter placed third overall.
The following competitors placed first in their respective competitions: Broadcast Journalism competitors Jaylee Bryant and Hannah Watkins; Business Communication competitor Sofia Smashey; Introduction to Information Technology competitor Logan Roberts; Journalism competitor Chloe Way; and Public Speaking competitor Rhyan Roberts.
The following competitors placed second in their respective competitions: Business Management competitors Miles Bethell, Bri Fugere, and Rhyan Roberts; Business Plan competitor Chloe Way; Journalism competitor Jaylee Bryant; Public Service Announcement competitor Adelyn Carrel; Sales Presentation competitors Kami Bryan, DeLaney Daniels, and Heidi Roweton; Spreadsheet Applications competitor Sophia Stimpson; UX Design competitor Reagan White; and Website Design competitors Lydia Tilley and Chloe Way.
The following competitors placed third in their respective competitions: Digital Video Production competitors Kami Bryan, Emma Goodman, and Heidi Roweton; Graphic Design competitors DeLaney Daniels and Reagan White; Introduction to Financial Math competitor Eisley Scowden; and Spreadsheet Applications competitor Logan Roberts.
Bri Fugere placed fourth in Impromptu Speaking.
The following competitors placed fifth in their respective competitions: Introduction to Financial Math competitor Mac Rich; Sports & Entertainment Management competitors Brody Campbell, Cy Douglas, and Mac Rich; and Visual Design competitor Emma Howes, Aileen Siegfried, and Kailyn Thiessen.
Additionally, eighteen Bolivar students placed 6-10 in other competitive events. Way to go, Liberators!
