tools for tomorrow

Bolivar High School is proud to announce the Tools for Tomorrow scholarship, a new initiative aimed at supporting BHS graduates pursuing careers in Career and Technical Education (CTE) fields. This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance for the tools and equipment necessary for students entering professions such as nursing, welding, teaching, automotive repair, and more.

The scholarship is made possible through the generous contributions of local community sponsors who understand the importance of investing in the next generation of skilled workers. Additional community sponsors are being sought to help fund this initiative and expand its reach to more students.

“This scholarship is a game-changer for students ready to step into the workforce in skilled trades and technical careers,” said Samantha Grisham, counselor at Bolivar High School. “We often see students held back by the financial burden of purchasing the tools they need to get started. With the support of this scholarship, we’re opening doors for them to succeed and contribute to our community.”

By supporting the Tools for Tomorrow scholarship, sponsors directly impact the future of Bolivar's workforce and help ensure the continued success of vital industries. Contributions of any size are welcome and will go directly toward providing scholarships to deserving students.

The scholarship recipients will be chosen by a panel of community members based on their passion and commitment to their chosen CTE field. This approach ensures that students with a clear career focus, regardless of academic standing, receive the support they need to succeed.
