The Bolivar R-I School District is proud to announce that three of its attendance centers have been honored with prestigious "Best of Southwest Missouri" designations. This recognition serves as a testament to the hard work and daily dedication of our teachers and support staff, as well as the strong community spirit that defines the Liberator family.

In this year’s "Best of Southwest Missouri" rankings, Bolivar Middle School secured the Gold award in the Middle Schools category, the Early Childhood Learning Center was awarded Silver in the Pre-Schools category, and Bolivar Primary School earned Bronze in the Elementary Schools category. These accolades highlight the district’s commitment to providing an exceptional educational environment at every stage of a student's journey.

"Receiving the Gold award is an incredible honor that reflects the daily dedication of our teachers and the enthusiasm of our students," said Dr. Brooke Campbell, Principal of Bolivar Middle School. "We strive to create a supportive environment where every middle schooler can thrive, and this recognition is a beautiful confirmation of that mission."

For the Early Childhood Learning Center, the honor reinforces the importance of the earliest years of education. "At the Early Childhood Learning Center, we focus on laying a strong foundation for our youngest learners," said Sara Cooper, Principal of the Early Childhood Learning Center. "Winning the Silver award is a tribute to our passionate staff who pour their hearts into early education every single day. We are so proud of our youngest Liberators."

"The Bronze award for Bolivar Primary is a celebration of our students' progress and our team's unwavering commitment to their growth," said Dr. Rachel Tennison, Principal of Bolivar Primary School. "Seeing our Primary School recognized among the best in the region highlights the bright future we are building together."

Dr. Michael Methvin, Superintendent of the Bolivar R-I School District, emphasized that these achievements are a result of district-wide unity. "These honors serve as a powerful reminder of the excellence that happens throughout our district. Our commitment to being 'One Liberator' is evident. We are deeply grateful to our staff for their relentless focus on student success. We are so honored to serve the Bolivar community."
