On Monday, April 8, a solar eclipse will be visible on a path across the United States. Bolivar R-1 Schools has been busy planning to make this a unique learning experience for our students. All students will be outside to view the eclipse. The district has purchased and will provide all students and participants who attend the outdoor activities eclipse glasses to wear during this event. If you do NOT want your student to participate, please contact your child's homeroom teacher or the building office. Thank you!
BMS Parents,
Mrs. Branstetter is hoping to do a Hunter Education certification class for students. If your child would be interested in attending, please email Mrs. Branstetter at ebranstetter@bolivarschools.org for more information or call BMS. This would be after school hours and will probably be 2-3 nights. IF there is enough interest, she can do multiple sessions.
Any student is eligible to attend.

"Pre-K can be so scary for little kiddos just starting school, but also for parents! Mrs. Whatley has done such an amazing job providing the care and compassion necessary to make this first year of school feel like a breeze. My girl will come home and say, “Mrs. Whatley is my best friend!” We love her!"
"Mrs. Holcomb not only goes above and beyond for her students, but for her team mates as well! She is patient, kind, and works hard to ensure all students in her classroom are heard, loved, and learning! She truly sparkles and shines!"
"Mrs. Stark has been extremely pleasant and helpful to me as a parent! I have a student that needs significant help. She has been extremely helpful in a difficult situation."
"Mr. O helped me so much when it came to studying for his tests. He is awesome! He always makes my day better just by existing and being himself!"
"Coach McCullah is not just a great teacher who tries his best for his students, but he is an amazing person. He is great with his students and tries new things to help his students understand the topic that they are learning in his class. He teaches higher-level courses that take a lot of time and dedication to prepare for. On top of all the planning and prep, he also makes time to build relationships with his students and athletes. He always says he would love for his students to love biology or anatomy, but his main goal is to teach them how to be good men and women. He expects a lot out of his students and athletes because he believes in them and knows what they are capable of. He loves his students and athletes like they are his own kids." #GoLiberators #LiberatorsLead #GOCSD #BeTheLight
